Dermato-functional and aesthetic physiotherapy

We look after the skin and tissues through physiotherapy: scars, recovery after surgery and facial and body aesthetic treatments with INDIBA, in Playa de San Juan, Alicante.

What is dermato-functional physiotherapy

It is the area of physiotherapy that deals with the skin, the tissue beneath it and venous and lymphatic return. Its aim is for these tissues to work and look better: a more flexible scar, a more comfortable recovery after surgery, or better tone in the skin of the face and body.

We are not a beauty salon. Every treatment is carried out by one of our physiotherapists, starts from an assessment and has realistic goals, explained from the outset.

Specialised area

Facial and body aesthetic physiotherapy with INDIBA

Aesthetic physiotherapy applies the knowledge and tools of physiotherapy to the aesthetic care of the skin and tissues, on the face and body.

At Alba Health Lab we work with INDIBA, a radiofrequency device that generates heat in the tissues and is used in both physiotherapy and aesthetic physiotherapy. It is applied by Alba Feliz, a physiotherapist with official INDIBA certification, and by Laura Iniesta, always after an assessment and adjusting the intensity to each area and each person.

We combine it with manual lymphatic drainage and, when appropriate, with exercise, because results in the tissues also depend on how you move and look after yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Is it the same as a beauty treatment?

No. It is carried out by a physiotherapist, always starts from an assessment and is approached with clinical judgement and realistic goals.

What does INDIBA feel like?

The usual sensation is warmth in the area. We adjust the intensity so it is comfortable at all times.

Can anyone have it?

Not always. There are situations in which it is not indicated, such as pregnancy or having a pacemaker. That is why we always start with an assessment.

When can I start after surgery?

It depends on the procedure and on your surgeon’s advice. Tell us and we will advise you.

How long is a session and how much does it cost?

It depends on each case and we will explain it after the assessment. There are 30- or 55-minute sessions, depending on the area and the treatment. You will find prices and packages, in full detail, in our TRAININ booking app.
